The Torre del Moro, or Moor’s Tower, is a Moorish watchtower located in La Mata, Torrevieja. It is sometimes wrongly attributed for being the tower from which Torrevieja gets its name. That tower was located at the Eras de la Sal, but was destroyed by the major earthquake of 1829.
The Marina Salinas is a leisure port in Torrevieja, with moorings for plenty of boats, and a range of bars and restaurants for visitors to enjot. You can also partake in water-based leisure activities, including boat hire, jet skiing, and more.
The La Mata natural park is a protected area to the north of Torrevieja. The park has a visitor’s centre offering information and avcie about what you can see and experience in this nature-rich area.
Just to the north of the main fishing port in Torrevieja stands a monument to the Hombre del Mar, the man of the sea, paying tribute to those whose lives have been lost at sea.
The Eras de la Sal is an historic area of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Originally, the area was used for loading salt onto small boats, today it is an exhibition and show area, although not open to the public often enough.
At the north end of Torrevieja, as the levelled beaches come to an end, there are a series of Egyptian-like columns protruding from a small garden area next to the walkway.
The CMO is a dedicated building for social and informative events specifically designed for the elderly residents of Torrevieja.
This building was supposed to be a health spa on the banks of the salt lakes in Torrevieja. It had problems from the very start, infringing on the natural environment, and has been derilict for years, never actually opening. It has also been set on fire a couple of times!

The Auditorio internacional de música de Torrevieja, or Torrevieja International Auditorium, is a unique concert venue located on the outskirts of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
